I was browsing the Central product page on Macromedia site and i found this cool demo under the How To Use Central section :

It's a flash movie divided into 4 different categories of users : developer, homeuser, student and journalist.
Simple, clear but it works !

Unfortunately in Italy AIR applications are not so populare and well accepted by enterprise companies (this is the market I work for) and I guees we'll have to wait more time in order to see the same penetration you're reporting in US http://www.brand-watch-supplier.com/omega-watch-c-33/
