Some days ago, we talked about the new i-Channel service by DoCoMo via Flash Lite Group (see also my post here).
It seams that the iChannel service is based on FlashCast.
So What is i-Channel ?
i-Channel is a push-based service that allows you to get the latest news as easily as making a voice call.
DoCoMo offers many channel : weather, news, sports an entertainment, horoscope, games..
DoCoMo will open i-Channel to third party content providers, allowing them to list their information services on the portal and charge for content.
DoCoMo has also the new 701i Series mobile phones, designed for iChannel users with buttons that work specifically for these services.
