Stephen, I agree. One of the other goals of the ApolloApps.com site will be to provide a medium for Apollo application developers to actually market and sell their applications.

The ApolloApps.com Mall actually enables the user to publish their Apollo apps to a searchable engine and then ultimately, the Flex-based (soon to itself be an Apollo app) engine will handle all the backend licensing, and e-commerce.

The model has a long way to go and a lot of refinement will need to take place but we hope by the time large volumes of people will be developing useful, merchant-ready Apollo applications, ApolloApps.com may be a vehicle with which to sell said applications.
