Nokia N95 8GB ready for Flash Lite 3 testing

Nokian958gbspidermaneditionI did it.
Today I bought the Nokia N95 8GB Black Edition.
I was not able to wait the iPhone :)

This phone is amazing. The screen is larger than the N95 basic version and it has a lot of software and

The only con I can find is the price : 550 Euro :(

It's now time to play with real world Flash Lite 3 applications for my Nokia N95 !

I got several problems about Flash Lite 3.0 security sandbox(since it implemented Flash 8 security model).
If we open local swf from FlashLite 3.0 standalone player in N95 device, it can't access network because "localWithNetwork" sandbox.
Any idea how to solve this problem?
Is an embedded swf to a sis app has same restriction too?

What version of Flash is pre-installed on your N95 8GB?

I have a N95 classic (not N95 8GB) with Flash Lite 2.0 preinstalled.

I got Flash Lite 3.0 dev.edition by email request from Adobe and install it to device, and try playing with Flyer Framework (using XMLSocket protocol as main operation to local socket server)
As I know Flash Lite 2.0 not support XMLSocket yet. (FL 2.1 XMLSocket supported).

But the problem is the sandbox security of FL 3.0 standalone player not allowing local swf files to access network.

I think Flyer Framework work fine with FL 2.1 standalone player because it still implement Flash 7 security model, sadly FL 2.1 unable to install in N95 because error during install (maybe you already know it).

Hi Deden,

The solution to this is to compile as a local access only application and to access the network via a proxy running locally.

See www.kunerilite.net, and ask them to build a plugin for you!
