This is what I thought when I read this article "Nokia sees HD video on cell phones in a few years" where the analyst Alan Brown of research firm Gartner said he estimated that 8 percent to 10 percent of cell phones might have HD video capability by 2010 or 2011. And Nokia Chief Technology Officer Tero Ojanperä told Reuters in an interview :
"It's coming. Technically, we are a couple of years away. It's still a few years away."
I trust Nokia. And now that we have the Flash Player 9 with the support for H.264 video (it's the compression component of MPEG 4 also found in Blu-Ray and HD-DVD).
For Nokia, it will be enough to produce and distribute a mobile device Flash Player 9-enabled in the next two years.
Not so difficult, isnt't it ?
